How long is the Julian Alps day trip from Ljubljana?
Your private day includes up to 9 hours from pickup to return, including all driving and stops. We agree your departure time with you; an early start can leave more time to enjoy the stops.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
The fixed total is €340 for a private SUV with 1–3 passengers or €470 for a VIP Van with up to 7 passengers. Fuel, road tolls and parking are included in the standard itinerary.
Can you collect us from Ljubljana Airport?
Yes. Door-to-door pickup from Ljubljana city or Ljubljana Airport is included at the same price. Add your flight, pickup and luggage details to the request so we can plan your day.
Is Vršič Pass always part of the day?
We continue to Vršič when road, traffic and weather conditions allow. If access is unsuitable, we adapt the day with more time around Kranjska Gora and Lake Jasna, and agree the revised plan with you. The Russian Chapel stop also depends on access along the mountain road.
Can we enjoy the scenery without a long hike?
Yes. The planned day focuses on scenic road travel and short stops, rather than a long mountain hike. Exploring Zelenci, the lakeside and viewpoints involves some walking. Tell us about mobility needs so we can discuss suitable stops before travel.
Is this a guided tour?
This is a private sightseeing journey with an English-speaking driver and Movira Care. Your driver handles the route, timing and practical arrangements while you explore the stops independently.
Can two people choose the VIP Van?
Yes. The VIP Van is available for couples and smaller groups who prefer extra space. The standard total remains €470 per vehicle.
Can we change the stops or request a longer day?
Yes. The standard itinerary can be adjusted to your interests. Reasonable changes within the included time can be discussed before the trip, while different destinations or additional hours can be quoted separately.
What should we bring?
Bring comfortable walking shoes and clothing suited to the forecast, including an extra layer for the mountain stops. Share luggage and child-seat requests when booking so we can plan the vehicle arrangement.
